いきなりTrouble with nike AMP+
AMP+が購入後、直ぐにiPodとリンク出来なくなってしまった。
オリジナルの3V lithium, CR1632,RENATA, SWISS MADE電池が悪いみたい。
電池の出し入れを3回くらいしたら直った。
けど、しばらくするとiPodとリンクできなくなってしまう。
この電池の電圧か容量が規格以下なんだと思う。
パンソニックのCR1632電池にに入れ替えたらウソのように快調になった。
AMP+は、すごく便利で最高のiPodグッズなので、直ってホントに良かった。
CR1632は結構珍しい系のボタン電池みたいで、近くのヤマダ、ケーズ、コジマ電機には無かった。
名古屋駅の近くのコンプマートの１階にも無くて、場末の６階でやっと売っていた。ゲットできて良かった。
どうも、スオッチに使われている電池らしい。ウオッチマンやデパートの時計屋の方があるかも。

I've had my Amp+ for a few days. It won't link to my 2nd gen Nano (firmware version 1.1.3), even if I follow the "command button" workaround posted in the Nikeplus FAQ's - I've tried cold & hard resets, setting back to factory defaults, having to shoe sensor active & inactive, fully charging, fully draining. I'm running out of straws to grab, frankly.
Anyone got any ideas? I know a few people have had this problem, and some of those eventually got the thing working without knowing quite how they managed it.
I had the same problem. Tried everything you mentioned. Then I removed the battery from the AMP, left it out for about 20 seconds and replaced it. This seemed to reset the AMP and it was immediately recognized by the Nano and started working again.

If you press a button on your Amp+ whilst in the Nike+ -> settings menu on your ipod, the menu for the remote will become available.

i had no trouble with the Remote function appearing on my Nike+Plus settings. I couldnt get the iPod Nano to link to the remote. i took it to a watch repair store, got a brand name CR1632 lithium battery (Panasonic) and the iPod immediately recognized the Nike Amp+. very cheap batteries apparently put in the Nike Amp+ by Nike, too bad because I've seen quite a few frustrated users out there not knowing how to fix this
